Talking About Ray is a three-piece rock band from Glasgow, a place held in such high regard for providing a home to timeless music.
Released on Friday the 22nd of November, ‘Three Fifteen’ is a song about the complexities of childhood friendships and how as you get older, the dynamics of life change leading you to differing paths and growing apart. The lyrics explore the innocence of youth, a time before responsibilities and expectations from yourself and the society around you.

The music delivers a strong instrumental similar to that of Catfish and the Bottlemen, formulaic and deliberate in its musical choices and delivery. There is no desire for one to stick out selfishly but much a group, a well-disciplined band.
The female-fronted vocal is a complimentary embellishment to an already well-organised music structure. Sarah Montieth-Skelton balances out a very aggressive, punchy instrumental creating a softer soundscape. The melodic choices from Sarah provide the listener with an undoubtedly easy listening experience to enjoy the story unfolding.
